The Chuckie F. Mahoney Memorial Foundation provides mental health resources and suicide prevention education to empower parents and teens throughout western Pennsylvania. Beginning in 2002 as a scholarship fund honoring the memory of Chuckie F. Mahoney IV who died from suicide, the 501c3 nonprofit evolved to fund mental health initiatives in school districts, similarly aligned nonprofits and suicide prevention agencies. The Foundation is proud to be recognized as a leading organization combatting suicide and advocating for mental health in our region.
Mission-Driven Education, Advocacy & Support

Our annual grant program provides funding for speakers, staff training and other resources to expand mental health offerings in local schools.

We’re proud to partner with AHN Chill Project to present annual training programs for educators and mental health professionals.

Whether awarding college scholarships or supporting suicide awareness walks & community events, we work to empower students and families.
